PUIG DE MISSA CONCERT
Included in the program of classical music concerts offered by the Island Government of Eivissa, the performance that is to take place as of 20:00 hours at the Puig de Missa Church in Santa Eulalia des Riu by the Danish string and metal group Esbjerg Ensemble is to be highlighted, group that will be performing works by Farrenc, Prokofiev and Poulenc. This program of concerts that will be bringing classical music to all the Ibiza parishes, offers innumerable occasions to enjoy free musical evenings, instance that is being welcomed with great satisfaction by both residents and visitors to the island alike. The Esbjerg Ensemble is one of the state-subsidised basic ensembles, and focuses particularly on new contemporary music. Over the past thirty years, the ensemble has developed into one of Europes most respected and versatile ensembles. They undertake numerous tours in Denmark and abroad, and are regular guests at the Numus festival, in Toronto, amongst others.
