The Hospitalet Museum displays the MACE’s works.

A new exposition of engravings proceeding from the special collection of the Dalt Vila museum.

A part of the Contemporary Art Museum’s (MACE) special collection is on display in the Hospitalet Church Museum, which has become a natural extension of the MACE.  Although the MACE itself has momentarily closed its doors –it’s undergoing building work- visitors will have a space in Dalt Vila in which to enjoy its artistic heritage.

Therefore, as from the past 3rd July and until 31st August, the Hospitalet Church is home to an exposition of engravings by artists such as Emil Schumacher, Antoni Tàpies, Junichi Morimoto or Luís Gordillo.
Some of these works were winners of the ‘Bienal Ibigràfic’ competition or belong to donations and the legacy of van Der Voort.
Diverse styles such as informalism, realism or conceptual art all meet up in this small but attractive display.
