Set in the nineties and admittedly inspired by the television series 'Beast wars' (1996), ‘Transformers: the awakening of the beasts' continues the path of its predecessor in this light and entertaining saga where the war is motivated because the hungry villain Unicron wants to get hold of an interdimensional key that the Maximals have and have hidden on Earth.
