MOBILITY IN IBIZA

The island of Ibiza has optimal geographical and climatic conditions for extensive use of the bicycle. Experts discuss the future of mobility in Ibiza. The Department of Transport of the Consell Insular d'Eivissa and the collective A Vila en bici have organized a round table to analyze this issue.

The event takes place on Friday, 23 September, at 19:00 hours in the Club Diario de Ibiza. The person in charge of inaugurating the day will be the second vice-president and Minister of Transport of the Ibiza Insular Council, Javier Torres. También intervendrán Ander Irazusta, consultor de movilidad de Biziker y redactor del Plan del fomento de la bicicleta en Ibizaa; Gemma Simón i Mas, coordinadora general de ConBici y doctoranda en movilidad ciclista infantil y Oier Martínez Violet, divulgador en movilidad urbana y profesor del máster Design urban environment de l’IED.

Esta mesa servirá para concluir en la isla la Setmana Europea de la Mobilitat 2022 i para celebrar el Dia sense cotxe, on Thursday, 22 September, los ayuntamientos también han programado diferentes actividades.
