The popular ses Salines beach tennis tournament is 25 years old
The popular beach tennis tournament which is held every year in ses Salines reaches its twenty-fifth edition, sponsored by the Inmobiliaria Roselló and the Edson Bahiano organisation, the driving force behind this unique event.
…where sportspeople of such note as Carlos Moya or Arancha Sánchez Vicario, amongst others, have been seen.
The championship lasts 20 days and the preliminary rounds for children were started last week.
This competition is played in doubles and in the case of the adult categories, these are divided into two groups. Within each group, everybody plays against everybody else and only the top two pairs go through to the final phase.
Any delay of over fifteen minutes is penalised with the forfeit of the game, according to the tournament rules.
The prize giving ceremony for first, second and third places of each category will take place after the final on the court of play.
