SHOWCASE MUSIC

In many places, Ibiza is more well known for its music
than for its beaches, hippy stories or rich history…

This wouldn’t be strange, were it not for the fact that on every corner
you meet musicians who always end up complaining
of the lack of venues to play live.

(the same thing happens all over the world, it’s a general tendency).

Or are artists always complaining or
are the laws excessively strict with them and with their work?

Humor ENG

…all the musicians with their rhythms,
like lizards in Ibiza, running this way and that,
making themselves a space, from some opportunity,
taking advantage of the sun and beach season to work.

Others, with their instruments on their backs,
escape from the madness of this season.

…there aren’t enough “permitted” places to make music,
but there is a huge market around it.

They bang out products like sweets…and us,
also wrapped in cellophane,
asking ourselves, looking for ways and formulas
to create alternative and collective marketing
which gives natural balance to the market.

Starting with this Utopia, we invite you to seek ways
to eliminate the “architectonic barriers”
which they’ve imposed on music.

 “Como aquell que diu”…
we want to groove with live concerts in discos, squares, bars…
listen to a guitar, a violin, an accordion, without having to soundproof the place,
we want to be able to take music along with us
freely, wherever we go.

If you wish to take part in this search, you can write to us,

Yours,

Guide to lose yourself in
the  artistic life of Ibiza.
PS: We are currently prepared a CD catalogue:

as though it were an inventory or a census,
a catalogue listing the music which is produced on the island,
basic information which can lead us to work on projects which impulse
not only the sales of CDs, but also promotion of concerts,
artists, meetings and spaces…especially, work-places.
