¿How many opportunities do you get in life to see the inside of an artist’s or a sculptor’s workshop…?
It’s not usual for artists to open up their homes to the public, a space normally reserved for the intimate surroundings of the artist.
The art route, also invites us to explore the lanes of Ibiza, as an atrium, as a first step to discover their Muses amongst the carob trees and fig trees, poppies, sea and earthen pathways of rich soil… Ibiza and the aroma of a woman loved who hypnotises, seduces and provokes.
We’re invited to get to know their homes, studios, workshops, gardens…, their little living museums, alternative spaces where they show their work and their life in present tense.
…palettes, brushes, paints…like the quill of the author or the violin of the musician… canvas, cardboard, stone, clay… blank pages where reality and fantasy blur into a single image…
¡How many interpretations, studies or philosophies are resumed in just one visit!
…and to transform this meeting into a collective movement, we have the art night, to expose and paint in the open air, framed in a happening, a performance, a single, simple action…where a toast and a greeting are always forthcoming.
Ibiza’s summer opens many pathways… the route we are proposed by this group of artists, united since five years ago, is the same one that led them to lose themselves in art in Ibiza…
