Portmany and Vicent Calbet, back in Vía2

The Vía2 Gallery celebrates its first anniversary and it does it in style.

The Ibizan artists Antoni María Ribas ‘Portmany’ and Vicent Calbet, both now sadly departed, share a space with the Burgos born María José Castaño.

The first two have already visited the city’s exhibition room, precisely for the opening; the latter is here for the first time with works belonging to her series ‘New York”.

La Galeria Vía2 celebra el seu primer aniversari i ho fa amb un cartell d’excepció .

Els artistes eivissencs Antoni María Ribas ‘Portmany’ i Vicent Calbet, ambdós desapareguts, comparteixen espai amb la burgalesa María José Castaño.

Els dos primers ja han visitat la sala de Vila, ho varen fer precisament , amb motiu de la seva obertura ; la tercera ho fa per primera vegada amb obres pertanyents a la seva sèrie ‘Nova York’.

Portmany y Vicent Calbet, de vuelta a Vía2

La Galería Vía2 celebra su primer aniversario y lo hace con un cartel de excepción.

Los artistas ibicencos Antoni María Ribas ‘Portmany’ y Vicent Calbet, ambos desaparecidos, comparten espacio con la burgalesa María José Castaño.

Los dos primeros ya han visitado la sala de Vila, lo hicieron precisamente con motivo de la apetura; la tercera lo hace por primera vez con obras pertenecientes a su serie ‘Nueva York’.

From purgatory to Second Division B

After 14 years, Eivissa is back in Second Division B. And it’s done it in style.

It’s 13 years since there was an Ibizan team in this category –la Peña Deportiva was the last one, in the season 1993-94-, which means that the fans will be able to enjoy once more a league of higher quality than the boring –without wishing to cause offence- third Balearic of always.

Del purgatori a Segona B

Després de 14 anys, l’Eivissa torna a estar a Segona B. I torna per la porta gran.

Feia 13 anys que no hi havia cap equip eivissenc en aquesta categoria –la Peña Deportiva va ser l’últim, en la temporada 1993-94–, amb la qual cosa, l’afició podrà gaudir de nou d’una Lliga de més qualitat que la avorrida –sense ànim d’ofendre– Tercera balear de sempre. L’ambició de l’Eivissa no sembla tenir fi, i el seu president, Pedro Ortega Cano, ha dit que, a partir de ara, l’objectiu del club és pujar quan abans millor a Segona A, la categoria de plata del futbol nacional.

Tras 14 años, el Eivissa vuelve a estar en Segunda B. Y llega por la puerta grande.

Hacía 13 años que no había ningún equipo ibicenco en esta categoría –la Peña Deportiva fue el último, en la temporada 1993-94–, con lo que la afición podrá disfrutar de nuevo de una Liga de más calidad que la aburrida –sin ánimo de ofender– Tercera balear de siempre.
